Shoplifter arrested at Rossmann – police officer fires shot

Large-scale operation for the federal police and fire brigade on Saturday afternoon in Berlin Central Station. There, a shoplifter was arrested in the Rossmann branch. One of the officers used his firearm.

According to initial information, two people were injured on the sidelines of the operation. As the fire department announced on Twitter, the rescuers themselves deployed 47 forces. The injured received first aid and some were taken to the hospital.

The fire brigade initially wrote of a “dangerous situation” on Twitter. The area is now secure.
