It has been known for two years that the documentary is a production and is coming. Fans have been waiting for the release ever since. Now Netflix has announced the start date. The time will come next week on March 13, 2023. After several postponements, the documentary will be available on the platform.
Shirin David is one of the most successful rappers in Germany, and her documentary will be called “Barbara – Becoming Shirin David”. It is intended to give a personal insight into the musician’s life and, according to the press release, to take viewers “on a personal journey through her breathtaking career” shortly before the rapper’s 30th birthday.
What can fans expect?
During the “Smart But Blonde” tour, the question arose as to whether Shirin David, real name Barbara Shirin Davidavicius, would give the woman behind the superstar more space and provide an insight into her “innermost self”.
