American actor Shia LaBeouf has been arrested, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
LaBeouf, 39, was arrested on Tuesday, February 17 in New Orleans after allegedly assaulting two men.
According to the New Orleans Police Department, LaBeouf allegedly caused a disturbance and acted aggressively at the store on Royal Street. According to TMZ, it was a bar.
The Hollywood Reporter says that the bar staff tried to evict LaBeouf. After attempting to evict, LaBeouf allegedly became agitated and punched a man several times.
After this, LaBeouf allegedly left the scene, but returned later. Several people tried to restrain the actor, but he broke down and continued beating the man, the news site writes.
He then allegedly punched another person in the face. In the end, he was calmed down and the police arrested him.
The actor was taken to the hospital, as he had various injuries all over his body. It is not known where the injuries came from.
Shia LaBeouf has said that he has stopped drinking alcohol. He has justified his previous violent behavior with alcoholism.
LaBeouf admitted last year that he used sarms, i.e. anabolic compounds that accelerate muscle growth. LaBeouf revealed this while talking about his role in the spring 2025 release Salvablein the movie.
