Shell wants to buy off NAM’s liability for earthquakes in Groningen in one go

Shell wants to buy off the liability of the Nederlandse Aardolie Maatschappij (NAM) for the earthquakes in the province of Groningen in one go. That is what president Marjan van Loon of Shell Netherlands says to the FD. Shortly before that, NAM announced that it would start an arbitration process against the State about the costs of damage repair for the affected residents in the earthquake area.
