After his resignation, CEO Ben van Beurden of oil and gas group Shell can count on a supplementary payment of at least 1.4 million British pounds (currently 1.6 million euros) if he does not find another job next year. The amount applies as severance pay and is equal to the basic salary that the Dutchman earns in one year at the British energy company.
