At a allotment garden on the Beilervaart in Beilen, a fire broke out this afternoon in one of the sheds on the complex. The fire brigade was alerted around 12.50 pm.
Upon arrival, the flames already hit the roof. A lot of smoke was released, but according to the first reports, nobody was injured.
A gas bottle was removed from the shed. This is cooled by the fire brigade to prevent danger. How the fire started is still being investigated.
