Rachel Hazes’s complaint about how hard she does not work has generated a storm of criticism. Her good friend Guido den Aantrekker, the boss of the Story, now encourages her.
Rachel Hazes complains in the latest edition of the Story about how hard her life is. She says she works so hard that she almost dies. She claims that she would prefer to just live in anonymity, but despite all those millions in the bank, she postpones that for a while. “I have decided that I want to work for another four years.”
Criticism of Rachel
On social media, for example on the Facebook page from Story, mincemeat made from Rachel. Because how hard work is it actually to wring out André Hazes’ legacy? Is she puffing and watching the last wrung drops fall to the ground? People react critically.
For example, Tanja says on the Story page: “Stop it! You were divorced. If Andre had had the time of life you would have just been an ex. So don’t whine about how difficult it all is for you. All you do is milk it all down to the bottom. Leave that man alone and find another hobby!”
Guido in the breach
Story boss Guido den Aantrekker, who is big on the Hazesjes, jumps in the gap for Rachel at the Shownieuws desk. “Of course I know her quite a bit and she works really hard and sleeps very little. I think she sleeps four hours a night. She is always busy.”
She is also very busy with her son André, according to Guido. “If her son André had a concert, you’re ready at two, three, four o’clock. You make a cup of coffee somewhere and then he always wants to text his mother that he was home safely and you name it. So she just woke up and did that. She really is a kind of primal mother. †
‘Go enjoy yourself!’
Guido has often urged Rachel to slow down a bit. “I’ve also said: ‘John, go and enjoy yourself for once’, but this is what she also wants. Anyway, in four years she really wants to stop it a bit.”
He hopes that by then she will also have contact with her daughter Roxeanne. “I personally think if I know them a little bit and I’ve really known them since they were little, it will really work out, but there has to be a good time for it.”
Stubborn Rox
Rachel is arguing with the whole world, including Roxeanne. According to Guido, this is also because Roxeanne is a bit stubborn.
“It has to be a bit of both ways, but Rox is a bit of a stubborn girl and I’m sure she will have her reasons for that, but I personally hope that happens before Rachel goes to Barcelona in four years.”
