‘She really is that fake’

Britt Dekker is completely screwed up in Angela de Jong’s podcast. One of her colleagues goes wild on the presenter. “It’s all so fake. I’m getting tired of it!”

It is not exactly good for Britt Dekker from a public point of view. Shortly after Marc-Marie Huijbregts already dismissed her as someone who is nice in front of the camera but who is unkind in real life, she is now getting the AD Mediapodcast over her. Media journalist Marcus den Blanken, a colleague of Angela de Jong, takes the presenter under considerable fire.

“Britt is so fake!”

Marcus saw Britt at work on Monday during the TV promotion for Ukraine and realized that he is getting tired of her. “Well, may I have a moment? I’m getting a little tired of Britt Dekker. Now she had that comment again of: ‘9 million! That’s a fun one for Sywert!’”

It’s just all very well thought out, says Marcus. “I’ve seen all those supposedly funny comments from Britt a thousand times on Twitter. It’s saying exactly what people want to hear. It’s all so fake. I’m really getting a little tired of it.”

Not authentic

Angela is startled by her colleague’s tirade. “Were you not always a huge Britt fan?”

Marcus: “I liked it in the beginning, but now… I can just draw it out when she’s going to say something. It’s not even more…”

Angela: “You have also found out that she is not that authentic?”

Marcus: “No, it’s completely inauthentic. It’s fake.”

Angela: “Yes, I wrote that a few years ago.”

Marcus: “I agree with that.”

Quarrel with Angela

What does Angela mean? At the end of 2019, she wrote a column in which she questioned Britt’s authenticity. Britt reacted furiously, as if stung by a wasp. “She likes to do that, deliberately making someone feel bad with her pieces,” the blonde snorted. “Not only does she try to destroy people, but she often succeeds.”

After that tirade, Angela noted that it is obvious that Britt is a big dick with show media hater Wendy van Dijk. The columnist at the time: “Apparently she lives in an environment – Talpa and her own riding school – where people bow to her like cutting knives and tell her all day long how wonderful she is and she has come to believe in that a bit.”
