SHE made Cem Özdemir dance so exuberantly

The ruling Greens in Baden-Württemberg were temporarily 14 percent behind the CDU. On Sunday (March 8th), a brilliant campaign finale turned into a quite surprising (albeit narrow) victory at the ballot box.

Cem Özdemir will be the successor to Winfried Kretschmann, who is voluntarily resigning from his position for reasons of age. The first Green Prime Minister in Germany is followed by the second. A reason to celebrate – and the party did so exuberantly.

from the tape and the party members celebrated and moved to the rhythm of Madeline Juno’s hit. An announcement, because this was obviously also about relief.

Who is Madeline Juno?

The song was released on DNA, the indie songwriter’s third studio album. It’s about lightness and the power of love. But Juno sings about a new beginning. Is this appropriate for a coalition that has been viewed with skepticism in recent months, but has now been fully confirmed again?

After the first English-language albums, “My Heart Dances” marked Juno’s development towards German-language lyrics. The 30-year-old from Offenburg stands for honesty and radical openness in her texts. In recent years she has become bolder and sharper with her songs.

Her songs are always about vulnerability and the usually painful view within. They are confessions of life with a girlie touch to extremely danceable music. And it is also deliberately intended to be music in the form of therapy.

The “Sing my Song” participant released her seventh studio record last year. She called the nostalgic song collection “Anomaly Pt.1”. Tracks like “Center Shock” are reminiscent of the bittersweet moments of youth.

Madeline Juno’s heart has been dancing lately because the Berliner-by-choice got married last year and will soon be a mother. “Anomalie Pt. 2” will also be released in the summer (July 31st). The singer can also be seen live in May and June before taking a break.
