This also affects the investment company Grantham, Mayo & van Otterloo (GMO) of the well-known star investor Jeremy Grantham. At the end of 2025, the portfolio had a value of around 39.1 billion US dollars and was also somewhat flexible: two new names were able to secure a place in the top 10 list. 11th place: The ranking
Once a quarter, institutional investors in the USA have to reveal their cards: Anyone who manages more than 100 million US dollars is obliged to submit Form 13F to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). This also applies to Grantham, Mayo & van Otterloo (GMO), the investment company of star investor Jeremy Grantham. At year-end, GMO had approximately $39.1 billion in equity assets under management. 10th place: Broadcom
As in the previous quarter, Broadcom’s top 10 GMO positions are opened. In the reporting period, the investment was increased by 325,982 shares to 3,136,731 securities. With a market value of 1.09 billion US dollars, this corresponds to a portfolio share of 2.76 percent.

9th place: Salesforce
New to the GMO top picks is Salesforce. In the final quarter of 2025, the hedge fund added 293,398 shares of the cloud computing company, which now includes 4,104,033 shares. As of the reporting date, they are worth $1.09 billion, making up 2.77 percent of the portfolio.

8th place: Thermo Fisher Scientific
Thermo Fisher Scientific’s investment climbed from ninth to eighth place in the fourth quarter. Here too, GMO took action and bought 270,200 papers. The total of 2,412,063 shares had a value of 1.4 billion US dollars at the end of the year – with a portfolio share of 3.55 percent.

7th place: Amazon
The Amazon investment also landed in the top 10 in Q4. After the hedge fund increased its holdings by a strong 2,766,500 shares, the number of Internet group shares in the portfolio rose to 6,353,413 shares. With a market value of 1.47 billion US dollars, the investment has a portfolio share of 3.73 percent.

6th place: Johnson & Johnson
Johnson & Johnson shares are still in sixth place. With a market value of $1.47 billion, the investment has a portfolio share of 3.73 percent. During the reporting period, GMO purchased 273,944 shares in the pharmaceutical company and thus held a total of 7,089,139 shares.

5th place: Lam Research
The investment in Lam Research is still in fifth place. After GMO took the red pencil here and threw 489,931 shares out of the portfolio, the remaining 9,344,080 shares still had a value of 1.6 billion US dollars at the end of the year. This means that the investment in the US technology company has a portfolio share of 4.07 percent.

4th place: Apple
Apple was also able to defend its ranking in the reporting period with a market value of 1.82 billion US dollars and a portfolio share of 4.66 percent. Here too, GMO made gains and acquired 584,276 new securities, meaning that a total of 6,707,117 iGroup shares were in the portfolio as of the reporting date.

3rd place: Meta Platforms
The top 3 is again introduced with the meta participation. GMO increased the investment by 635,655 shares to a total of 2,908,562 securities. As of the reporting date, the investment in the Facebook Group was worth $1.92 billion, resulting in a portfolio share of 4.88 percent.

2nd place: Alphabet A
The A shares of Google parent Alphabet remained in second place in the last quarter of the year – even though GMO threw 342,538 shares out of the portfolio. With 6,671,591 shares remaining, the investment achieved a market value of 2.09 billion US dollars and a portfolio share of 5.34 percent.

1st place: Microsoft
Microsoft is again undefeated in first place in the final quarter of 2025. GMO increased its stake in the tech group by 308,087 shares to a total of 5,267,686 shares in the reporting period. With a market value of $2.55 billion, Microsoft has a portfolio share of 6.48 percent.
