Vienna (dpa -AfX) – The Vienna stock market continued to give in on Wednesday. The leading index ATX closed with minus 0.41 percent to 4,441.09 points and thus recorded the 4th loss day in a row.
The majority of the European guidelines also went downwards for the middle of the week. It was significantly lower for technology values and auto titles. The Wall Street also tended weaker in the course.
At the company level, Eurotelesites already presented figures in Vienna the evening before. The transmission masked company split off by A1 increased its profit in the first half of the year. The stocks of Eurotelesites won 0.6 percent. The analysts of the first Group assessed the results with the exception of sales as under expectations.
Some support for the ATX provided the heavy -weight banks. The first Group title increased by 0.7 percent. Raiffeisen Bank International (Raiffeisen) increased by 0.4 percent. Bawag shareholders, on the other hand, had to record a minus of 1.2 percent.
Under the other heavyweights, Voestalpine weakened by 1.6 percent. Wienerberger fell by 2.6 percent. AT & S slipped 1.7 percent in the technology area.
Andritz (Andritz) fell by one percent. The African energy company Hidroeléctrica de CaHora Bassa has committed the Styrian plant maker to renovate the Cahora Bassa hydropower plant in Mosambik./ste/spa/apa/jha
