Vienna (dpa -AfX) – The Vienna stock market said goodbye on Thursday with slight losses. The leading index ATX lost 0.10 percent to 4,630.31 points. The European lead exchanges also booked declines. On Wall Street it also went down.

Market observers refer to reserved investors. The US economy news published in the afternoon was better than expected and made the interest rate speculation declining somewhat in the United States. Investors were also careful before the PCE inflation data that will be published on Friday and are the most important inflation measure of the US Federal Reserve Fed.

Hardly any market -relevant messages came from Austria. Noticeable losses showed the construction values. Porr’s shares lost 4.4 percent by Strabag by 2.7 percent. The titles of the oil and gas group OMV won 0.4 percent to 45.9 euros. The analysts of Berenberg Bank had confirmed their buy recommendation “Buy” for the shares in a sector study, but reduced their price target from 56.0 to 53.0 euros.

The majority of the banks heavily weighted in the ATX increased. Bawag was 0.4 percent and first Group (Erste Group Bank) by 0.5 percent. The shares of Raiffeisen Bank International (Raiffeisen), on the other hand, have a minus of 0.3 percent.
