FRANKFURT (dpa-AFX) – Bechtle shares climbed to their highest level since the summer of 2024 with a gain of 6 percent on Thursday. In the current year, the IT service provider’s shares are up almost 36 percent. This puts them well ahead of Cancom (CANCOM SE) with a price increase of around 13 percent.
This morning, Bechtle announced the conclusion of two framework agreements with the central public procurement agency for municipal IT service providers (ProVitako) and their municipal sponsors in Germany. The contract volume amounts to up to 501 million euros for a term of one year with three extension options for a further year each.
Cancom is currently still 17 percent below its annual high from the beginning of June./ag/jha
