Shakky got a tattoo with ‘Eredivise’ on his body, spelling mistake has now been corrected

Eindhoven resident Shakky Wan, who had Teletext page 819 tattooed on his body on Saturday, had to make a trip back to the tattoo parlor on Sunday. Not because he wanted another tattoo off the page, but because there was a spelling mistake in the original tattoo. Above the Eredivisie position, with PSV at number 1 and Ajax at the bottom, was the word ‘Eredivise’. The PSV fan only found out after a few hours.

PSV at number 1 and Ajax at the bottom at number 18. That resulted in a historic Teletext page. Shakky did not hesitate for a moment when he saw Ajax’s historically low ranking. He had the Teletext page turned on its side on Saturday. A simplified version indeed, because there is no room for the entire page on Shakky’s decorated body.

Tattoo artist Tim came to the shop especially for this on his day off on Saturday. He is not a football fan himself, but liked to get this tattoo. “You don’t see these kinds of idiotic tattoos very often, so it would be funny to sacrifice a day for it,” he told Omroep Brabant on Saturday.

Yet something went wrong. Once home, Shakky discovered that there was a spelling mistake on his body. Instead of ‘Eredivisie’, the word ‘Eredivise’ adorned his body.

Shakky decided to solve it quickly and went back to the tattoo parlor on Sunday. The ‘i’ has now been placed in between, so that the word ‘Eredivisie’ is now spelled correctly.

It’s just a shame for Shakky that Ajax is no longer last.

Omroep Brabant was there on Saturday when Shakky had the special tattoo done:

The spelling error caused a lot of hilarity on social media.
