Australian authorities have reported that two helicopters collided on monday on a beach in the Australian city of Gold Coast, south of Brisbane, in the state of Queensland, on the east coast.
Emergency services are at the scene of the incident, without an official balance of victims having been confirmed for the moment.
For its part, the Queensland Ambulance services have indicated that at least thirteen patients are receiving treatment at the scene of the collision.

According to Queensland Police, initial investigations have indicated that both helicopters have come into contact with each other, as long as only one of them managed to land successfully.
