Multiple asylum reception locations do not participate in an open day for AZCs on Saturday. This confirms a spokesperson for the Central Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers (COA) reporting from the NOS. Exactly how many locations stay closed and why, a spokesperson for the COA could not say on Friday afternoon. The COA has taken the decision on its own initiative and not on the advice of the police, say police spokesmen.
This includes two reception locations in Amsterdam and one in Hoofddorp, writes the NOS. At a number of locations that still participate, additional safety measures would be taken.
