A routine check on the coastal tram in De Haan was completely derailed on Sunday evening. No fewer than five De Lijn employees and two police officers ended up in the emergency room after they were attacked by young people who did not have a ticket. “Unprecedented,” says the union, which is today examining whether social actions will follow. Figures already show that aggression on the bus is a daily occurrence.
