Counter -protesters of the Koran burning have thrown to the police and the demonstrators against the AZC with fireworks, stones and wood. The mobile unit (ME) has carried out charges with dogs on the spot. As far as we know, there were no injuries in the violence.
According to reporter Thijs-Jan van Aalst, a small group of counter-protesters has looked for confrontation with the police and the demonstrators during the Koran burning. Some of them were then moved in the direction of the center of Hoofddorp, where the ME tried to take the groups apart. In the neighborhood around the AZC it was still restless according to the police tonight around 10 p.m.
A few dozen counter -protesters have come up on the Koran burning. According to reporter Thijs-Jan, it was about 80 people. According to him, a large part of the group comes from Hoofddorp.
Hope of police present
The police are present in large numbers at the asylum seekers’ center on the planet track in Hoofddorp. “I count about eight buses of the ME and enforcement is also fully present,” says Van Aalst.
