If there is anything to the setlist circulating, there will be no “Wonderwall” to hear live.
Oasis won’t be going on tour until the summer, but you can already find a setlist for the reunion tour by Googling. However, this is just a fan wish list instead of a verified order for the live shows. Either way: Liam Gallagher still made a statement about the set list circulating online…
“Not far away”
The anticipation for the gigs of the previously feuding Gallagher brothers is great, but so is the confusion caused by the song order wandering through social media. An He reacted in his typically short way. But in a somewhat understandable way, he said: “It’s not far away.”
The fake setlist, which is probably “not far away” from the real one:
- “Aquiesce”
- “Some Might Say”
- “Lyla”
- “Shakermaker”
- “The Hindu Times”
- “Columbia”
- “Cast No Shadow”
- “She’s Electric”
- “Stand By Me”
- “Stop Crying Your Heart Ours”
- “The Importance of Being Idle”
- “Half the World Away”
- “Whatever”
- “Slide Away”
- “Supersonic”
- “Morning Glory”
- “Rock ‘n’ Roll Star”
- “Cigarettes & Alcohol”
- “Don’t Look Back in Anger”
- “Live Forever”
- “Champagne Supernova”
What’s missing – according to fans
What had to happen happened: people complained online that their favorite song was missing from the list. Many people were also surprised that, according to this live plan, “Wonderwall” would go under completely.
Other reactions to this on ? Certainly ‘The Masterplan’! And it would be great to have a real Oasis collector’s item like ‘Let’s All Make Believe’ or ‘I’ve Got The Fever’. “Underneath The Sky” and “I’m Outta Time” also have their place. So many colossal tunes!”
So far, no Gallagher has responded to all of these opinion pieces.
