The accident happened this evening around 7.15 pm on the IJssel. The victim is said to be a minor, but the police cannot confirm this.
A photographer at the scene said that the driver of the fat bike hit his head hard against the car window during the collision. This caused the window to break.
The victim was rushed to hospital. The police are investigating the accident. When asked, a police spokesperson said that none of those involved were under the influence.
Both the fat bike and the car were severely damaged by the collision.
