A serious fire broke out on the site opposite chemical company BASF in the port of Antwerp on Saturday evening. The Antwerp fire brigade and the BASF company fire brigade extinguished the worst of the fire around 1.20 am. The total damage is not yet clear. “We did not see any suspicious indications on the camera images,” reports Elia spokeswoman Marie-Laure Vanwanseele.
