At least one person was injured in a single-vehicle accident on the A28 near Assen-Noord last night and was taken to hospital.
It is not clear what the victim’s condition is. A bystander reported that a second occupant of the car may also have been injured and taken to hospital.
Traffic in the direction of Hoogeveen will be diverted. It is not clear how the accident could have happened.
