17 goals in the four advance matches, on a particularly lively Friday. All three groups were played, on the day in which Serie C knew its television destiny in the three-year period 2025-2028: Sky and NOW will once again broadcast the third series exclusively, as in the current two-year period. “For the entire Serie C – commented the president of the Lega Pro, Matteo Marani – it is a source of immense satisfaction to continue alongside Sky Sport which in these last two seasons has contributed significantly to the growth of our championship and to the appreciation of the itself by the Italian public”. In the meantime, here’s everything that happened at the start of the 18th day.

group a

Nice external shot from Novara, which overturns Trento (3-1) in a match with a playoff flavour: after 20′ it is the usual Di Carmine – tenth goal of the season – who opens the scoring with opportunism, but Giacomo Gattuso’s team he reacts strongly with a brace from a penalty by specialist Ranieri (in both cases, a foul by Cappelletti) and in between a trio by Morosini. Trento thus falls after 16 useful matches. After five games without success, however, Lecco also returns to full results and does so by overwhelming Caldiero (5-1) at Rigamonti-Ceppi: Filiciotto responds to Tordini’s initial lead with a penalty, then Volpe’s team takes the lead again with Sipos – a random carom – and from that moment it takes off, with a brace from the Croatian himself and goals from Ionita and the substitute Galeandro.

groups b & c

Third victory in a row for Ascoli, who only needed a great second half to eliminate Sestri Levante: at Del Duca it ended 4-1 and Corazza’s brace – provisionally at the top of the scorers’ table – followed the centers of Marsura and Varone ( Clemenza had closed the distance.) In group C, Altamura slows down Cerignola’s race at the top (three X signs in the last four matches) reaching 1-1 at Monterisi: Capomaggio breaks the deadlock just before half-time, breaking through after three excellent interventions by goalkeeper Viola ; in the second half, however, the changes regenerated Altamura who found the equalizer with Grande.
