– Milan

He goes down, comes back and even risks losing it in the last 2′ of added time. Allo Stirpe is a crazy 2-2 between Frosinone and Cagliari, with the canaries who had deluded themselves after Roberto Insigne’s super goal. Staying now at +5 on Pippo Inzaghi’s Reggina, stopped at 2-2 by Fabio Cannavaro’s Benevento in advance of lunchtime. Genoa fell 1-0 in Perugia (another super goal, but by Olivieri), and the Grifoni were thus grabbed in third place by Brescia (2-0 against De Rossi’s Spal). Bari equalized in the final in Como (1-1), same result as Cittadella-Cosenza. Another tie between Sudtirol and Ascoli, but 2-2. At 18, the 14th of B ends with the challenge of Renzo Barbera between Palermo-Venice. In the two advances on Saturday, Modena (1-2) and Pisa (3-1) got the better of Parma and Ternana, who thus sacked Cristiano Lucarelli.

Frosinone-Cagliari 2-2

Anyone who thought of a strong start from Fabio Grosso’s team, reinvigorated by Reggina’s draw against Benevento, was wrong. The first minutes are all from Cagliari with a super Luvumbo. The 77 had a shot rejected by Turati at the start, then in the 14th minute, served by a deep ball from the left by Carboni, the rival goalkeeper jumped (very undecided on exit) and scored into an empty net. The disadvantage wakes up the hosts, who raise the pressure and equalize in the 32nd minute with Rohdén, good at beating Radunovic with a header after Garritano’s cross. Shortly after, Moro devours the 2-1 goal face to face with the host goalkeeper, shooting high after Mulattieri’s assist. This is how Roberto Insigne takes care of remedying his teammate’s mistake, and he does it with a super goal in the 67th minute, returning on his left foot from the right and printing a round shot that goes off at the crossroads. When everything seemed done, the goal that froze Frosinone came in the last minutes of added time: Mazzitelli took the face of Lapadula, and the attacker from the penalty spot made it 2-2. There would be time for Pavoletti to make it 2-3, but Lapadula’s offside at the start nullifies everything. Stirpe’s emotional match ends in a draw.

Brescia-Spal 2-0

They study at the start, then Brescia move on to the first lunge (14′) with Ayé, after a nice slalom in the arena by Ndoj who, falling, serves the Beninense. The same one who in the 40th minute could do an encore on a cross from Bisoli (just missed the post). It doesn’t matter, because 1′ later Mangraviti takes advantage of Murgia’s involuntary header extension in the middle of the area, after a corner kick, and with an aerial shot he can put it on the net. In the second half, Andrenacci was super on a header from Moncini, before Galazzi first let himself be hypnotized face to face with Alfonso and then had his powerful central shot rejected by the goalkeeper. In the end the result does not change.

Citadel Cosenza 1-1

Cittadella starts strong, which in the 6th minute takes the crossbar with a super shot by Tounkara from the center of the area. But the hosts still found the goal in the 25th minute (reviewed in the Var) with Mirko Antonucci, who crossed on the opposite post after Tounkara’s low assist. A step away from the end of the first half, a long throw by Rispoli intercepted by Brescianini, but Kastrati deflects for a corner. In the second half Cosenza had the super chance in the 62nd minute, but Vaisanen hit the crossbar after Calò’s free-kick. In the end, however, the draw arrives in the final: in the middle of the area Zilli heads Brignola, who shoots with a wide shot. The ball still ends up in the net because Kastrati misses the catch.

Como-Bari 1-1

At Sinigaglia, the match lights up in the 24th minute: a foul by Folorunsho on Iovine and a penalty kick. From the penalty spot Caprile touches Cerri’s shot and Alejandro Sanchez Blanco scores into an empty net. But the penalty was canceled because a Como player had entered the area before the spot kick. The hosts froth anger but continue to attack, and consistency pays off one step away from the end of the first half. Another penalty kick: in the middle of the area Cutrone goes down, but the referee Marchetti whistles Pucino’s (wide) arm touch. From 11 metres, Cerri can make up for the previous mistake, slotting into the corner to the right of Caprile. In the second half, therefore, many chances: Maiello shot wide, Solini’s header crossed the whole goal before the dangerous conclusions of Schleider and Cutrone. In the final, Arrigoni’s mistake was very serious, as he blocked with his wide arm in the middle of the area: Botta went from the spot and displaced Ghidotti to his left.

Perugia-Genoa 1-0

At Curi the first half was more of the Perugia brand, dangerous with Bartolomei and with Curado’s header. The Ligurians show up with a right-footed shot by Puscas, before the Umbrians earn a penalty kick in the 29th minute following contact between Santoro and Coda. However, the defender hits the ball before the opponent, and so, after several minutes of review, the referee La Penna removes the penalty with the Var. In the second half, the teams stretch and several opportunities arise: Portanova’s shot exalts Gori, Semper saves Genoa from Olivieri’s shot. The same one who forcefully seeks the first goal of the season, which arrives a quarter of an hour from the end: heel in the area to get rid of Dragusin and a right-footed shot that goes off at the crossroads. Strootman equalized in the final, but the 1-1 was canceled by the Var for Ilsanker’s charge on Gori.

Sudtirol-Ascoli 2-2

Not even the time to leave for Druso, that Ascoli is already ahead in the 1′: cross from the right, Dionisi’s bank in the area, and left-footed fireball from Ciciretti, who folds his hands to Poluzzi and scores the first goal in season. After a difficult start, Sudtirol responded with a shot from Tait, but Guarna blocked everything. In the 37th minute Odogwu came close to scoring, heading in a cross from the right, but the ball went just wide. In the second half, the match returned to balance in the 57th minute: from a free-kick from the edge, Nicolussi Caviglia hit Ciciretti’s arm in the barrier, and so it was a penalty. Casiraghi kicks in the center and makes it 1-1. In the most important moment, however, Caligara’s goal brought the Woodpecker back into the lead: the midfielder (first goal of the season) reached the trocar, then kicked. The dirty and central right foot surprises Poluzzi, however deceived by a detour. In the final Rover takes care of making it 2-2: a nice shot with his right foot after a free-kick, with the ball ending up in Guarna’s hands (with some responsibility).

Reggina-Benevento 2-2

Before lunchtime, Pippo Inzaghi’s Reggina immediately started strong, first with a shot from Cicerelli and then with that of Canotto, deflected for a corner by Paleari. The amaranth pressing bears fruit in the 21st minute, when Hernani makes it 1-0 from a penalty, validated by Zufferli with the help of the Var (jogged hand touch by Pastina, on Pierozzi’s cross from the right). The players from Campania are slow and composed in the game, often undergoing the attacks of their rivals, who bring several men into the penalty area. And thus, in the 36th minute, the 2-0 arrived: Hernani again, from the right, caught Menez in the center of the area, who kicked badly but unintentionally hit Letizia. Thus the ball ends up in Canotto who, with his back to Paleari (he is kept in play by Capellini), displaces him with his heel and takes his fourth goal of the season. Benevento shows up only in the final of the fraction with a tense cross from Farias, but Improta fails to make a good impact in front of Ravaglia.

In the second half, Cannavaro immediately made changes to look for a shock: inside Viviani, Forte and El Kaouakibi for the injured Schiatterella, Foulon and Pastina. And he succeeds, given that his players shorten in the 59th minute with Improta: Ravaglia is punctured after a corner kick and a carom in the middle of the area. Shortened distances and Inzaghi who thus seeks more mobility up front by inserting Rivas for Cicerelli. The same one who in the 66th minute was the protagonist of the generous penalty whistled by Zufferli, due to Improta’s slight close touch after the Honduran’s close shot in the area. The referee then cancels with the Var after more than 5′ of review. And for Reggina the joke also arrives in the 82nd minute, when Benevento equalizes with Acampora. After a corner kick, the ball goes to Farias who unloads it for his teammate: the shot goes off the net, but the goal validated by the Var is very doubtful, given that Cappellini, on the ground, is on the trajectory and covers the view in Ravaglia. The amaranths wake up too late, and in the final Paleari is super in Rivas’ header, while Hernani fails to score after a corner. In the final 7′ of added time there was only one maxi-fight in the middle of the pitch: foul on Letizia by Cionek, who was booked as well as Acampora and Camporese.
