But the home team’s match gets complicated midway through the first half, when Oukhadda gets the red card by bringing down Di Francesco who is thrown towards the goal. Insigne and Coulibaly have two excellent chances, but the result does not change. Corini’s men found the advantage at the start of the second half with Henderson receiving in the area and volleying: first goal in the rosanero for the Scottish midfielder. Brunori leads the offensive phase of his team and halfway through the second half he shoots just wide. Magnino is still dangerous, but Pigliacelli is careful. In full recovery Mancuso, who entered in the second half, doubled his lead and closed the game. Palermo wins, rising to 19, second defeat in a row for Modena.
