Serdal Adalı and Hüseyin Yücel competed for the presidency of Beşiktaş Gymnastics Club. Adalı outperformed his opponent by 3878 votes in the first 20 polls and became the new president, according to unofficial results.

Serdal Adalı, who won the presidency in the election, said in his first statement:I have feelings that are hard to explain. I thank my entire community. Hüseyin Yücel is a very good brother. I like him very much. I will call our former presidents after the New Year. “I will try to bring them all together on a free day.” he said.

WHO IS SERDAL ADALI?
Serdal Adalı was born on February 1, 1964 in Adana. Adalı, who started his business life at a young age, left his undergraduate education at the University of California unfinished due to his father Hasan Adalı’s illness and founded Adalı Holding with the support of his family. Adalı, who married Eren Adalı, has two children.
Serdal Adalı is the 25th president of the Turkish Jockey Club. The owner of Adalı Holding operates in the fields of construction, service, logistics, catering and energy. Adalı served as Vice President and Vice President of Beşiktaş.
Serdal Adalı served as Beşiktaş Vice President and Football Committee President under the management of Yıldırım Demirören. While Adalı started his first duty in the black-and-white club on February 2, 2010, he left this position on December 24, 2011.
During his tenure, he had an important share in the transfer of star football players such as Ricardo Quaresma, Hugo Almeida, Manuel Fernandes, Simao and Guti.
During his second term in Beşiktaş, Adalı served as the vice president of Beşiktaş in 2018.
Adalı announced that he was a presidential candidate in the 2013, 2019 and 2023 congresses and lost. Lastly, Adalı became a Beşiktaş Presidential candidate together with Hüseyin Yücel in the elections held in December 2024 and won the election.
