Sense: Menswear Purchasing Manager Patrick Diederen is leaving

Patrick Diederen is already leaving the fashion retailer Sinn. He only came to Hagen in November as Purchasing Manager for the Menswear division. Sinn confirmed the personal details to FashionUnited. The specialist magazine Textilwirtschaft had previously reported on it.

Diederen “received a lucrative offer from another industry” and left Sinn at the end of April, said Managing Director Thomas Wanke. He has taken up a position as Head of Non-Food Purchasing at the supermarket chain Edeka Rhein-Ruhr Stiftung & Co. KG, according to his Linkedin profile.

Before Diederen came to mind, he was Head of Category Management Fashion/Shoes at retailer Galeria. Further stations were the fashion retailer Ansosn, where he worked as buying director, and the Düsseldorf fashion retailer Peek & Cloppenburg.

Diederen’s areas of responsibility at Sinn “will be distributed internally in the future,” says Wanke.
