Triple jumper Senni Salminen started her reign strong with a result of 14.07.
Salminen, who suffered from major difficulties, never jumped as well last season. His best result last year was 14.01.
On Tuesday, Salminen jumped even shorter, with a speed of 12 steps.
The competition took place in Aarhus, Denmark, where Oliver Helander lives. Helander helped Salm and photographed his leaps.
The competition was Salminen’s first since the Paris Olympics. In Paris, the Finnish star was injured just before qualifying when he was doing training jumps.
– Fortunately, it was a muscle injury. It was rehabilitated and I have been training well since then. It was nice to jump six jumps, Salminen said in SUL’s bulletin.
