Dennis Seimen from SC Paderborn has tipped the 23rd matchday of the Bundesliga for Transfermarkt. The goalkeeper, who is on loan from VfB Stuttgart for a year, is counting on a 3-2 away win for Borussia Dortmund against RB Leipzig in the top game on Saturday evening. That would be the seventh win in a row. This means that Dortmund is staying in the championship race and is giving Leipzig a setback in the fight for the Champions League places. Bayern Munich keeps the gap to BVB at six points and inflicts the next defeat on Eintracht Frankfurt with a 3-1 win after their first win under new coach Albert Riera. Join now and type yourself!

While Leipzig is losing ground in the premier class, Hoffenheim, Stuttgart and Leverkusen are doing their homework. VfB shatters even more of their remaining belief in staying in the league with a 2-0 win against bottom team Heidenheim, while Hoffenheim wins 3-1 against 1. FC Köln and worsens their relegation worries. Kasper Hjulmand continues to enjoy a strong debut season as Leverkusen coach, beating Union Berlin 2-0 and moving past Leipzig into fourth place.
Hamburg extends its run of five games without defeat to six, defeating Mainz 2-1 and gaining an eight-point cushion over the relegation places. Augsburg won 2-1 against Wolfsburg and Wolves’ worries about relegation for the first time since promotion to the Bundesliga in the summer of 1997 intensified. Gladbach’s crisis also worsens with a 2-0 defeat against Freiburg. This puts the Foals on seven winless games in a row and, according to Seimen’s tips, they are only topped by Heidenheim (10 games) and Werder Bremen (13 games).
Werder continues to extend its negative series, but is something of a small winner on the match day with FC St. Pauli. Despite a 1-1 draw, both of them gained a point on the safe bank. Daniel Thioune gets his first point in the third game as Werder coach and thus prevents a negative record. Never since 1977/78 has a Werder coach lost his first three Bundesliga games. Back then it was Fred Schulz who only managed to score a point in his fourth attempt.
