Tennis player Ella Seidel missed the second round of the 1000 tournament in Indian Wells. The 21-year-old from Hamburg lost against Anastasia Zakharova in two sets 2:6, 2:6 and was the next German player to be eliminated.
After Tatjana Maria’s elimination and Eva Lys’ cancellation, Laura Siegemund is the last remaining German starter at the highly prized tournament in California; her first round game against Croatia’s Petra Marcinko is scheduled for this Thursday evening.
