Against Denmark
How to see the German ice hockey “final” on TV

The 88th Ice Hockey World Cup is in full swing. Germany recently had problems and now has to give everything against Denmark to get on.
At the past World Cup in the Czech Republic, the selection of the German Ice Hockey Association in the quarter-finals against Switzerland (1: 3) was eliminated and therefore slid back to eighth place in the world rankings. This time, the team of national coach Harold Kreis wanted to make it better and return – but this is now becoming a difficult task.
Because at the beginning of this year’s tournament in Denmark, the German national team won against Hungary (6: 1), Kazakhstan (4: 1) and Norway (5: 2), but then lost to Switzerland (1: 5), the USA (3: 6) and Czech Republic (0: 5). In order to reach the quarter-finals, a victory must be made against Denmark on Thursday (from 8:20 p.m. in the T-Online live ticker). If this is not the case, Germany would not be in the quarter -finals for the first time since 2018.
T-online tells you where you can follow the “final” of the DHB team live.
The German games are transferred to ProSieben on free TV, plus a quarter-finals, both semi-finals and the final. For ProSieben Maxx, other group games and a quarter -finals can be seen.
Magenta sport also shows the German games live and most K.-O. games, but behind a payment barrier. All games of the World Cup – 43 of them exclusively – have “Sportdeutschland.tv” on offer. However, a tournament pass costs twelve euros. In addition, fans can follow some games at ran.de and Joyn in the live stream.
ProSieben relies on a tried and tested team for reporting: Basti Schwele and Rick Goldmann comment on the games, ice hockey legend Uwe Krupp is at your side as an expert. Moderator Matthias Killing, supported by reporter Christoph “Icke”, leads through the show.
At “Sportdeutschland.tv” Tobias Fischbeck, Christoph Fetzer and Constantin Eckner take over the comment. Former international Frank Mauer and Christian Having are available for support. Sascha Bandermann as reporter, Patrick Ehelechner as an expert and commentator Alex Kunz, are in action for Magenta Sport.
There you will find the lineups before the game, during the game current intermediate stands and an analysis after the final whistle.
