Live material by Depeche Mode frontman Dave Gahan and the producer duo Soulsavers will not only be broadcast once in the coming days, but two shows with the artists are scheduled.

On Friday (March 18th) the musicians will be guests on Jimmy Fallon’s “Tonight Show”. There they will play songs from their current album “Imposter”. Dave Gahan last stepped onto the stage of the US talk and comedy show in 2017 with his band Depeche Mode. If you don’t have time after 10:35 p.m. Central US Time, you can watch the recording of the show later in the NBC media library or on YouTube.

A recording of the Gahan and Soulsavers concert from December 10, 2021 will be broadcast on March 25. shown on arte (11.30 p.m.). The performance took place in the Paris concert hall “Salle Pleyel”, which was considered the only symphonic hall in the city until the opening of the Paris Philharmonic in 2015. There, Dave Gahan and the Soulsavers played all the tracks from their “Imposter” album and then performed a few Depeche Mode songs as an encore.

Gahan and the music duo Soulsavers came together through a joint tour in 2009. Soulsavers, which consists of Rich Machin and Ian Glover, accompanied Depeche Mode’s “Sound of the Universe” tour as a support act and followed up with the band’s lead singer to record an album. Since then they have released three records together.

A statement by Gahan that Depeche Mode could possibly be over had recently caused a stir. The previous singles from all the band’s albums are currently being released piece by piece as collector boxes.
