Second warmest day since the start of measurements: Kleine Brogel was the hottest place in the country with 39.1 degrees

It was sweltering hot today. A new day record was set in Uccle with 38.1 degrees and according to our weatherman Frank Duboccage it was also the second warmest day since the measurements started in 1892. Kleine Brogel in Limburg was the hottest place in the country, reports weatherman David Dehenauw on Twitter. No less than 39.1 degrees was measured there. Koksijde and Chièvres (Hainaut) follow, with 38.9 and 38.8 degrees respectively.
