The police have arrested a second suspect for involvement in an accident with a scooter on February 27 in Emmen. It concerns a 27-year-old man with no fixed place of residence or abode. At the end of June, an 18-year-old man from Coevorden was arrested.
The accident happened on the Nijkamperweg in Emmen. The 35-year-old victim was hit from behind by a gray Mercedes and suffered serious injuries. The driver of the car drove on. Police believe the man was hit intentionally.
The gray Mercedes was later found burnt out in Dalen.
