Second division: Royal HFC thanks Eddahchouri after a late goal

Royal HFC got away with a visit to TEC. The Haarlem-squad still took the lead against the team from Tiel. In the final phase, the game was completely turned around and TEC seemed to be going to win. It was Zakaria Eddahchouri, who equalized in the 92nd minute: 2-2.

From the start, HFC was stronger than opponent TEC. The first shot of the Haarlem team went just over. After a good action in front of the goal, Royal HFC seemed to take the lead. This goal was disallowed for offside. From a corner from Roy Castien, Zakaria Eddahchouri attempted a bicycle kick, but went wide. After a mistake by goalkeeper Mathijs Swaneveld, Castien opened the score: 0-1. Castien then became dangerous twice more, but without success.

Attractive final phase

Just after the break goalkeeper Mitchel Michaelis was injured and was replaced by Thomas Hoekstra. He could immediately prove his worth by turning a shot. HFC continued to struggle against TEC. Moments later it got away well, when Danny van Haaren shot at the post. Mike van den Ban had another great chance, but goalkeeper Swaneveld was alert. Through substitute Marciano Mengerink, TEC eventually equalized: 1-1. Moments later, it even became 2-1 for the club from Tiel via Basil Canada. In stoppage time Eddahchouri still scored the equalizer: 2-2.

Due to the draw, HFC is seventh with fifteen points.
