An unpleasant afternoon for OFC and Royal HFC. The Oostzaners had a hard time against the Rijnsburgse Boys and returned with a hard loss: 3-0. A goal from Emiel Wendt was enough for Noordwijk against HFC, 1-0.
Rijnsburg Boys – OFC
From the start, OFC had a hard time visiting Rijnsburgse Boys. After ten minutes, there was a sigh of relief after a bet by Jordy Hilterman was turned. The luck soon passed, because three minutes later Dani van der Moot made it 1-0 on Hilterman’s pass. After this, the Rijnsburgse Boys could have run further, but that only happened after 31 minutes. Delano Asante scored the 2-0. In the final phase, Jeffrey Jongenelen closed the game completely by making the third. That was also the final score.
Due to the defeat, Pieter Mulders’ team is in seventeenth place after three games.

Royal HFC – Noordwijk
The first chance was for Jacob Noordmans, he headed on the goal of Noordwijk after a cross by Jim Hulleman. André Morgan also headed just wide from a free kick by Gerry Vlak. In the second half, the Haarlem team had a good chance via Quinten Dekkers. A few minutes later, Noordmans again hit the target without success. Noordwijk took advantage after sixty minutes and scored via Emiel Wendt: 1-0. In the remaining part of the game, HFC still became dangerous through Hulleman and Roy Castien, but without success.
Due to the defeat, HFC is in twelfth place in the second division.
Young Sparta Rotterdam – Young FC Volendam
The opening phase was for Jong Volendam, but Jong Sparta increasingly came out of its shell. This gave Mohammed Tahiri a great chance to score the opening goal. Jay Koorndijk came up just short in the counterpunch to slide in a free kick. Goalkeeper Kayne van Oevelen then kept Volendam going twice. Joey Antonioli made the 1-0 fairly quickly after the break. In the final phase it was still 1-1 via Tahiri.
Due to the draw, Jong Volendam is in tenth place. AFC will not take action in the second division until tomorrow. TEC is the opponent from 2.30 pm.
