Sebastian Vettel was robbed – the thief didn’t care about the headphones

The long-clawed grabbed Sebastian Vettel’s bag.

Sebastian Vettelin preparations for the Monaco race weekend got off to a wet start when the Aston Martin driver was robbed at a previous race venue in Barcelona.

As Vettel checked out of his hotel room, the thief used the momentary attention of the four-time world champion to the benefit of slackening.

– I took one of my bags in the car and then went back to the hotel for a moment. I was away for just a moment. When I returned, I noticed my bag was lost, Vettel repeated the incident to Form Media in Monaco on Friday.

Vettel was not left to exercise. He jumped on the back of the scooter from behind the long-clawed.

– My bag had a headset with a GPS locator. I tried to run after the thief and see someone walking with my bag, but I couldn’t find anyone.

After a while, the headphones were found in a nearby flower bush.

“The thief had to know that I could use them to track him down,” Vettel hesitated.

“Boring things” disappeared

Sebastian Vettel looked away for a moment and missed the opportunity. AOP

A setback does not discourage Vettel.

– The headphones were the most valuable contents of the bag, and the thief threw them away, Vettel laughed.

– At first I was afraid my passport was in my bag, but luckily it was in the second. Among other things, my ID and driver’s license went on the thief’s journey. Mainly boring things that take time and effort to fix.

The loss of the bag itself seemed most annoying.

– I want it back. It was a good bag, Vettel laughed.
