Coach André Breitenreiter from the Bundesliga club TSG Hoffenheim can fall back on ex-national player Sebastian Rudy in the league game at Hertha BSC on Sunday (3:30 p.m. / DAZN).
After an operation as a result of a metacarpal fracture, the 32-year-old midfielder can play with a splint. This does not restrict the former Bayern player when playing.
However, it is unlikely that the 29-time national player will be in the starting XI. The 32-year-old has been substituted on in every game under new coach Breitenreiter.
