Carolina Hurricanes and Sebastian Ahon the vibes seem to go hand in hand. The Suomalaistahtahti stretched his scoring streak to six games, when the Hurricanes took their seventh consecutive victory at the expense of the Buffalo Sabres, 5–1.

Kihaus was Aho’s 23rd of the season. The six-match scoring streak equals Aho’s career record (from the 2019–20 season) and is currently the longest streak in the entire league.

The other Finns in the match were also able to get some power. Teuvo Teräväinen passed Aho’s 1–0 goal with superiority and Jesperi Kotkaniemi was starting 2–0 and 3–0 goals. Henri Jokiharju bait Alex Tuchin 1-3 reduction and survived as the only Sabers defender without minuses.

Antti Raanta made 29 saves in the win. The same number of saves was also recorded for the one who worked hard at the Sabres’ hatch Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen.
