Search notice for Fatma Bayram, mother of a boy (5) who was found dead in Maas | Interior

On Friday, at the request of the Liège public prosecutor’s office, the police issued a search notice for 38-year-old Fatma Bayram. She disappeared on Thursday with her five-year-old son, whose body was removed from the Maas on Friday morning in Lieze, a sub-municipality of Wezet.

Fatma Bayram left her home in Oupeye on Thursday, February 23 around 8:30 PM. Since then, every trace of her has been missing. Her vehicle, a white 2010 Suzuki Alto, was found on the quay of the Meuse in Visé, near the outpatient clinic of Hermalle-sous-Argenteau.

The body of her son was removed from the Meuse by divers from the Liège fire brigade on Friday morning near the Lieze dam.

The Liège public prosecutor’s office arrived on the scene and an investigation was opened.

According to the police report, Bayram is 1m54 tall and thinly built. She has medium length brown hair and brown eyes.

At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a long black K-Way coat, light blue jeans and black and white “Adidas” sneakers.
