The report of the fire came in around 7:45 p.m. The fire started small and then got bigger. Police, fire brigade and ambulance arrived on the scene. AT5 received several tips talking about a ‘floating boat’. “One of these boats floated away, but was eventually pulled to shore and extinguished,” the fire brigade wrote on X.
The fire released a lot of smoke. People who were bothered by the smoke were advised to close windows and doors and turn off mechanical ventilation.
