Sea classes are possible again, “fully booked until November”

Since January 28, extracurricular activities with overnight stays are allowed again.

They are students from a secondary school in Ghent who are the first to return to sea class here. Tim Vinck, Horizon: “I think in the meantime we have missed 3,000 overnight stays for January alone. All the staff had to stay at home during that period. That saves a sip on the drink.”

Whether they will receive financial compensation for the mandatory closure remains to be seen. Horizon is already relieved that the doors can now open again. In the meantime, everything here is almost fully booked until November. Many schools have moved their sea class and there are also applications from schools that cannot go abroad.
