Mike Eerdhuijzen scored his first goal against Telstar (2-1) in his fiftieth game for FC Volendam this afternoon. The defender did not play perfect game. The 21-year-old Eerdhuijzen was too late for Glynor Plet’s opening goal.
Eerdhuijzen started in the base because Brian Plat was missing from Volendam. It was only the fourth time this season that trainer Wim Jonk allowed him to start. The 21-year-old Eerdhuijzen has been in the selection of Volendam since the ’18/’19 season. Recently FC Emmen showed interest to take over the defender who has an expiring contract.
