Scooter thieves are ripping expensive Apple headphones off New Yorkers’ heads, the NYPD warns

Owners of AirPods Max headphones should pay extra attention when listening to music on the street, the NYPD warns. A gang of scooter thieves in town seems to be specifically targeting Apple’s expensive headphones, simply ripping them off the heads of their unsuspecting victims. According to the New York police, at least 21 incidents have recently been reported to the police.
