At the intersection of Phileas Foggstraat and Cornelis Houtmanstraat in Emmen, a scooter rider collided with a motorist this afternoon around 4.30 pm.
The scooter rider, who was hit by the car, was injured and had to be taken to hospital. Due to the settlement of the accident, the Cornelis Houtmanstraat was partially closed for some time.
Police are still investigating exactly how the accident happened.
