Scientists are discussing the maximum strength of an earthquake in Groningen in a meeting organized by NAM for a week

Last week, the Dutch Petroleum Company (NAM) organized a five-day meeting for scientists in Amsterdam to discuss how severe the earthquakes in Groningen can actually become now that gas extraction has been reversed. This can have major consequences for the number of houses that need to be reinforced in the Groningen earthquake zone.
