School association calls for AI to be allowed in classrooms | Internet

The students ask Minister of Education Ben Weyts (N-VA) to also include AI in the minimum goals. They ask the schools and umbrella organizations to make clear agreements.

The advice from the Flemish School Association contains eighteen guidelines. It is based on focus conversations in four schools and on a survey of approximately 11,000 Flemish students. A total of 45 percent of the students surveyed had already used smart technology to do their homework.

Students say in ‘De Standaard’ that there is hardly any discussion in class about the use of aids. A lot also depends on the teacher, which leads to uncertainty.
