Schmidt-Markurt flies into the final with the best time

At Ninja Warrior Allstars, the best athletes of recent years duel for overall victory. In the third episode, four final tickets were again awarded. sport.de looks back on the latest issue.

In each preliminary round show there are 16 duels at the start. It is twelve times man against man and four times woman against woman.

The respective winners then compete again in a new doubles course, so that at the end of each show eight ninjas make it to the Power Tower for four direct encounters. Consequently, four participants ultimately make it into the final.

The “Ninja Warrior Allstar” can win 50,000 euros here. Should a man win the season, the best woman would receive 25,000 euros as “Last Woman Standing”. In addition, the fastest ninja of each preliminary round clears 5000 euros.

What did the obstacles look like in the third episode? Who made the best time? And who could qualify for the grand final? Here come the answers!

Schmidt-Markurt convinces with best time

Last season, Benjamin Schmidt-Markurt was eliminated by Philipp Göthert at the Power Tower, but this year he prevailed in an impressive manner.

Schmidt-Markurt already put his opponent Leon Wismann in his place in the first lap and also ran the best time of 38.91 seconds, for which there is 5,000 euros.

Since Schmidt-Markurt was also able to prevail against Gary Hines, he found himself at the Power Tower like last year and this time had the better end on his side.

So Schmidt-Markurt kept the upper hand against Michael Markantelli. “I definitely trained a lot. There was hope,” said the finalist about his start-finish victory.

Djulabic again in the final

In addition to Schmidt-Markurt, three other ninjas were able to qualify for the decision show. In the women’s category, Viola Riechert won against 18-year-old Jolina Thormann on the Power Tower.

Daniel Schmidt won his duel with Lukas Kern. In addition, Sladjan Djulabic lived up to his role as favourite.

Last year’s runner-up didn’t give Patrick Basler, Nick-Luca Pazdzierny and finally Philipp Allgeuer at the Power Tower a chance and is thus again in the final of Ninja Warrior Germany Allstars.

Consequently, Riechert, Djulabic, Schmidt-Markurt and Schmidt can still hope for overall victory after the third preliminary round show.

What did the stages look like?

In the first round it was about jumping kicks to the bike with a pendulum trunk. Then came the flying saucers. Those who could keep their balance at the dominoes found themselves at the pipeline. At the end it went to the wall as usual.

The second round of duels started with the surfboards, before the bungee jumped to the hangman. The ninjas, who couldn’t be bothered with the clockwork, found themselves in front of the fireplace.

At the end of the show, the notorious Power Tower decided on the allocation of the final tickets.
