Schiphol can again handle more travelers than in the month of July. In August, 73,000 passengers can be carried, a few thousand more than the maximum in July. Schiphol has hired more security guards so that it can better handle the summer crowds. A shortage of staff has regularly resulted in the Amsterdam airport becoming too busy in recent months.
