Scheme, Paralympic World Cup: gold for Bebe Vio, bronzes for Lambertini and Mogos

On the third day of competitions of the Paralympic World Cup stage in France comes the second triumph of Bebe Vio, who conquers the gold in women’s foil category B. Bronze medal for Emanuele Lambertini in men’s épée A and Ionela Andreea Mogos in women’s foil A. The Venetian champion of the Fiamme Oro concedes an encore after the victory in the Pisa test, where she returned to competition after the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics. Her test began in the round of 16 draw, in which she prevailed with the score of 15-2 on Nga Ting Tong, standard bearer of Hong Kong. In the quarterfinals Bebe beat the Brazilian Monica Santos with the same finish in a match without history. In the semifinal she beat the Chinese Xiao 15-9. Another test of strength, before the very final which saw Vio lead the match with the Thai Jana right from the start. A one-way match, with the blue who extended the score jab after jab, then concluding 15-8 and winning the second consecutive round of 2023 which is worth other fundamental points in terms of the Paris 2024 Paralympics.

In men’s epee A, on the other hand, Emanuele Lambertini climbed to the third step of the podium, just as Ionela Andreea Mogos finished third in women’s foil.
